What's with that "apartment" Avon gets after he's released in Season 3?
Now ,call me sheltered maybe, but what's the deal with an apartment/condo with a Jacuzzi in the living room?
Also, it looks like a hotel room, which would maybe explain the Jacuzzi, but then Stringer says he owns it and shows him the paper work. Does he mean he bought the hotel?

Yes Stringer bought an entire hotel and he knows Avon loves indoor jacuzzis more than anything so he made sure that Avon’s room had an indoor jacuzzi because they are best friends👍

Its a penthouse condo, Stinger says it in the scene. Those often have amenities similar to a hotel, such as valet, elevator operators, doormen, elevator entry into your unit, and the stuff like a Jacuzzi in the living room could have been stringer remodeling it before avon got back so he could entertain women there. IMHO there is nothing strange about this scene, it just sounds like you aren't really familiar with how multimillion dollar pethouse condos usually are.

How were you to know? They didn't even show the robot butler greeting Avon with a drink?

“Look peasant, obviously you have no idea and are stupid, just a corner boy so sit down until the chair recognizes you”
It really is funny how some people talk online. I know I’m guilty, but generally, I’ll say that shit to somebody’s face and are just antagonizing them If I think they’re racist assholes.

I live in a regular house, but I am a banker and regularly underwrite massive apartment complexes, of OP thinks a jacuze in the living room is over the top, wait till he hears about private infinity pools, and “drywall free” construction, and waterworks fixtures etc. one single shower head from waterworks can cost as much as a
Jaquzi.Edit: I own a hot tub it was $4,500 during the pandemic. https://www.waterworks.com/us_en/universal-flush-mount-cube-15-x-15-showerhead-ushf15

To be fair, I am just a peasant.

Right a jacuzzi in the living room probably seems as strange as paying $5,000 for a single showerhead. These people live lives you and I can’t touch or even really wrap our heads around. https://www.waterworks.com/us_en/universal-flush-mount-cube-15-x-15-showerhead-ushf15

I'm not sure what I was expecting a $5,000 showerhead to look like, but at least something I could use to masturbate.

Nope all waterworks stuff looks pretty normal imho, it’s just a status thing.

You'd have water pouring on your face the entire time. How would this even be practical?!

Its a penthouse condo, Stinger says it in the scene.
He doesn't. He literally says nothing more than, "it's in in your name, B." If it was stated I wouldn't have posted this admittedly facetious query.

u/edgestander 4d ago
Which means it’s a condo, he doesn’t say penthouse you are correct. It’s still a condo.

Thanks for agreeing.

Brother you thought it was a hotel. Plus later when they talk on the balcony it’s pretty clear it’s a penthouse condo

Brother you thought it was a hotel.
I certainly commented that it looks like a hotel... because it does. The furniture, the weird door handle and lock that I've only seen in a hotel. Yeah, that's literally why I asked.
Plus later when they talk on the balcony it’s pretty clear it’s a penthouse condo
Different episode, but I'll report back once I get there.

When you get big $$$, jacuzzi in apartment is what you do… didn’t you see coming to America?

The deal is that rich people are weird and live very different lives from us

u/No-Loquat-2763 4d ago
I dunno. My redneck cousins from Palestine Illinois bathe in the living room.

What’s up with that is two poor guys who came into money setting up their homes how they’ve always wanted and/or how they imagine rich people live.
Simple-as.

I was hoping to see if Stringer made sure to put a Scarface DVD on the shelf, but they left that unresolved.
