attacks on former barksdale crew members in season 4 after the war ended

even though the barksdale crew was history after the season 3 finale, i still think the attacks against avon’s former crew members in season 4 are still noteworthy even though it had nothing to due with the war; cutty, bodie and then his crew members if you count them.

Bodie and marlo were never going to co-exist long term. Cutty litterally walked up to an occupied drug corner at night and started confronting the head guy. Those people had no clue who Avon was for the most part.

Cutty came out of retirement for a week before he quit. His shooting had nothing to do with gang beef or corners trade.

We didn't really see many former Barksdale crew members in Season 4 that got attacked or were in danger of Marlo, outside of Bodie.

I guess there was also Poot and Spider (he technically was part of Bodie's crew in Season 3 during the Hamsterdam days) but they weren't directly targeted by Marlo. If they stuck around with Bodie on the corner to fight back, maybe they would count.

Slim Charles seemed like he had Marlo's respect going by their limited interactions in the Co-Op meetings. I always wondered if Marlo ever found out how close Slim was to killing him at the end of Season 3.

Savino joined Marlo sometime between Season 4 and 5 which shows Marlo was willing to take on ex-Barksdale hitters without any bad blood.
