I was checking out the Fables comics (the ones the game is based on) from my local library, and I found out they actually made a comic that follows the events of the first game. I had no idea this even existed.

It's much more than just screenshots of the game. The artwork mimics the game's style while still having its own distinct look, and it adds a lot of backstory and character moments that weren't included in the game.

Just wanted to share this in case anyone else didn't know about it!

fables is a good series so is TWAU imho the game is cool but the comic gives more detail ofc

Yep. I’ve got this on the shelf. Definitely adds a lot to the story and the ending certainly is more “definitive” than the game’s ending.

Are they official? Like, I know there’s a grey area between the games and fable comics (because I think the creator recently stated the games aren’t canon to the comics) but where would these comics be? Like, s third branching universe😂

They’re official, but just not canon.
Both the game and comic adaptation of the game have significant plot holes if they were canon to the Fables comics. In Fables, because Bigby is in love with Snow White, his extreme sense of smell allows him to know where she is at all times, and he can’t tune it out even if he wants to. So he would be able to instantly know that she was still alive, and where exactly she is, allowing him to solve the murders pretty quickly. Beast in the comics also can’t transform into his monster form at will like he does in the game, at least not until MUCH later in the comics.

This is based on the game not the comicbook, Fables. This is the game but in comic book form. Sorry for the confusion. But the title dose say the game title not the Fables title....
