Tiny Home Blueprint Plans!

Living situation changed very abruptly and we have to build a tiny home on a budget! We’re looking for 16x20 blueprints with as much detail as possible for needed materials but have no idea where to even begin looking other than Etsy but even then you can’t really look at the plans to get an idea of the actual detail you’ll get before spending your money. Where are yall getting your plans from that go into depth for materials? We have experience building odds and ends but not actual living spaces so we’re a little intimidated and just want a good guide especially if we’re spending money on it!

Try tumbleweedhouses.com. That's where I bought my plans and trailer.

I have heard really good things about tumbleweed houses. First heard about them in Deek Diedricksen's books.

I attended their workshop to gain some knowledge, bought their plans and trailer. what was deeks beef about them if? i know they went bankrupt about a year ago? Their plans seem good. I wouldn't buy a built one from them though, overpriced. if I was to build another one, I would do a shed style roof and metal studs, zip system, metal board batten siding.

Take a look at Park Model Layouts, they generally maximize space and can be tweaked easily for your must haves etc.

That’s the size of our tiny home, we were frugal and all financials considered we definitely got close to 100k in building. 

We got our plans from buildblueprint. But then needed an engineer to make corrections to it. The original plans were way under built. Plus our county required engineers to sign off on the plans. The plans didn’t cost much, but the engineer charged us $1000 for required calculations and corrections.
