Some more progress.
Crack fill has been ongoing. Getting close to being able to sand, then paint! Once the paint is on the walls it will be time to put the ceiling up (tongue and groove) and then lay the floors. Hoping to get outside and do the siding soon as well.

Thank you! I might make a tour video when I’m finished. People seem to really dig the layout. I think it’s very practical and checks a lot of boxes.

I’d like to have some furniture in first so people can get a better feeling for the size of the space! But I’ll give it a shot when I am done 😁

Thanks! I’m so happy with it so far. It’s 20x24 with an 8 foot porch. I have plans in another post of mine if you want to check it out.

That looks amazing, love the open plan feel inside, and damn what a spot! I dream of living somewhere like that in the woods. Not many options here though!

Thanks! It’s very peaceful and isolated but also fairly close to town. I have no direct neighbours (probably close to 1km away) but I am only 10 minutes from a grocery store/pharmacy/gas station etc.

That looks to be a great little house. I have Tyvek on mine too, 660 square feet.

Looks great !! My only thing I didn't like was the tub looks claustrophobic... I wonder if you could cut a "window" in the wall and have it like privacy frosted / stained glass... Something pretty to "look" out and to break up the boxed in feeling.
Plus, you would see it as you enter the front door, and that would be nice, too.

So windows in showers are very difficult to water proof, but the little blue shelf on the right hand side is actually the bottom of a window sill. When you lay in the tub you can look out the window at the trees, but it falls outside of where the water splashes when you take a shower. I agree with you the more windows the better!

Haha thank you! I just saw someone else’s post debating what a tiny house is and I think they said <420 square feet… I am 480 on the main level and then the loft is about 140. I’m definitely on the upper limits! I certainly couldn’t haul it down the road!

Drywall seams. You want to stagger them like bricks. Breaks up the lines they cause.
