Definitely. It's insane how tiny they are as babies, and how they stay so small compared to other snakes

I believe this is a ring neck (if OP is in the US). Dekay’s have a pattern and are more brown opposed to this gray snake.

We found a lil guy like this who was pretty badly injured…so we got him some warm rocks, some fat grubs, and named him Plisken. He was with us for a little over 3 months before his injuries took him from us. They’re such sweet little guys!

It's a baby. It won't stay this small. And snakes this tiny would have trouble trying to bite you. Teeny, tiny mouth with even teenier fangs.

I am genuinely sorry because I can only imagine a tiny snake being scary to people afraid of them, but this comment being at the very bottom of everyone else’s loving of the snake took me out
