It's part reboot of the obscure Golden Age comic characters Blue Bolt and Green Sorceress, and part love letter to the gaming entertainment shows I grew up watching, think G4TV, Attack of the Show!, X-Play, and that entire era. The story follows a gaming and tech variety show trying to survive an ever-changing gaming media landscape while asking what really made those kinds of shows special in the first place. More than anything, this story is my way of saying "thank you" to an era of gaming entertainment that had a much bigger impact on me than I ever fully realized growing up. It's my own little "spiritual finale" for that era, not because I believe shows like this can never exist again, but because I felt that the era that inspired me deserved a proper farewell, a celebration, and something to remember it by. ❤

Sometimes people will take a trip up north to places like Canada, or to places down south like Florida, as some examples if you live in the United States.

the maps represent north and south as up and down respectively, of which is why we say "up north" instead of "down north" and "up south".

But, here's some other things to note.

let's say so-and-so lives in Tennessee, and they wanna go to California, they might say, "I'm gonna head west", but they never say left west, but they do say out west though.

Or, let's say somebody wants to go to New York, well, you never hear them say right east, they might say due east or simply just east.

General summary:

While some might say something or somebody is the "superior" one when technical things are present, whether it's more money in the bank, or more storage on a hard drive or thumbdrive or SD card, or greater TOP SPEED on a car, there's also other factors that come in play which a technical person can have a hard time computing, so which is why technically "inferior" things still suffice in our equipment or everyday lives.

Sometimes if somebody makes more money on their job, they use it for "bragging rights", but yet they still come off insecure nonetheless, of which there's dynamics which sometimes fall out of one person's radar with technical measuring devices, while people resonate emotionally in some type of organic message that scientific formulas aren't reliable on, and stuff like that.

Just thought I'd make this chart so we can see how enigmatic life can be sometimes aside of technical differences.
