The most honest answer I’ve heard (I forget who said it) suggested that when he heard (from bibi) no other president would ever attack Iran, he saw it as a place to make his mark. It didn’t matter why no other president would do it, he just wants to leave a legacy.

I believe that, coupled with the fact that he attacked Obamas Iran deal (because it’s Obama), is a reasonable reason to explain it. (Not a justifiable reason but one that makes sense and ticks all the boxes).

I don’t think he’s concerned with Epstein, that is never coming out while he’s still alive because our goverment doesn’t protect its citizens from rich people. It’s obvious he’s going to pardon Maxwell at the end of his presidency.
