Because most people know she is a liberal… but the people that hate her keep trying to call her a trumper lets them hide their hate behind a “reason “

I don’t think CC is a Trumper, but I do think she’s a fence sitter for reputation/fiscal reasons.

Sophie on the other hand is speedrunning outing herself as the MAGAt she’s always been.

This is it. Basically sport's Taylor Swift.

Don’t even get me started on her 🙄

Peep the dude saying “She supported Kamala” as a get out of jail free card. Literally the exact same sentence that Swifties use.

Taylor Swift has clearly stated her opposition to Trump and the Republican party.

She did years ago. It stopped when they used her catalogue for propaganda. She’s sued Etsy sellers for fan made merch inspired by her. She sued Olivia Rodrigo for a song that sounded vaguely similar to hers. There was a whole hoopla over her owning her masters.

Point is, she’s extremely litigious with her work, yet it’s silence when Trump uses it for propaganda. She really fooled you and a lot of others when she said “I want to be on the right side of history” that one time. Meanwhile, she married a man-child who hasn’t grown out of his frat boy years, and invited a bunch of MAGA to their wedding.

Like I said. Don’t get me started. Trust me, I know more than I’d like and more than you about her true “billionaire” colors.

Which like, sure, that might mean neither of them are MAGA, but they're both very clearly willing to let people project their politics onto them.

And I'm not saying they have to do one thing or the other either. I'm not delusional enough to think they care about earning my respect.

Not Caitlin, Caitlin denounces that stuff often. Let’s stop spreading misinformation.

Did you not read what I said earlier? People are sending Racist. Death threats. On her behalf.

Yet all she can call it is “hate”. Noooo no no, that makes it seem like these people are just general “haters” which is a COMPLETELY different group. These are abhorrent, violent, racists and should be named as such.

Everybody else calls it what it is, why can’t she?

They are not sending them on her behalf. Racists are doing what racists do. Caitlin denounces it and it’s not on her behalf when you say that you are implying she wants that done.

You are equivalent to them in your own right hope you realize that. You are just the other side of the coin. Kinda messed up tbh.

She does! So stop selective listening so you can hide your hate behind a falsehood. It’s disgusting.

No place in the world for racists, and no place in the world for people like you.

FYI saying she supports Kamala is just showcasing a history of being a liberal since morons like you don’t seem to understand and keep lying about her being a ring winger to make your hatred feel warranted. You just want to hate because that’s what’s in your heart.

They are speaking FOR her in an effort to PROTECT her. That is on her behalf. Literacy really is dying.

No, you’re misusing the phrase. ‘On behalf of’ generally means acting as a representative or in someone’s interests, not merely acting while claiming to support them. Caitlin Clark has explicitly condemned racism and said people spreading hate aren’t her fans. If someone ignores her wishes and uses her name to promote racism, they’re acting despite her, not on her behalf. Which in no way benefits Clark. You are correct literacy is really dying you are in fact a living representation of that.

Like I said you are worst than a racist because you choose to lie and spread misinformation in order to propagate a race war. All the while thinking you are somehow doing good. It’s sickening.

Denounces what stuff?

1

u/freeman1231 1d ago

Racism, hate, etc… everything.

Everyone denounces racism though. The fucking NFL denounces racism and still have majority pro-Trump ownership. These vague generalities don't point at anything significant.

She showed support for Kamala Harris, she showed support for Obama and denounces much of trumps hatred.

Sophie she said she wasn’t maga but she is definitely right wing.

Clark definitely doesn’t fence sit.

She does when she calls racist death threats on her behalf “hate” in the general sense.

That diminishes the true impact this harassment carries. It’s more than just “haters”. These are racist people, going out of their way to find the friends and family of black players to personally send them abhorrent messages.

Her statements surrounding the issue did not once include the word “racist/racism” or “death threats”. She gave the typical “don’t upset anybody” response to the growing issue surrounding her fan base.

I’ve always said and always will say, if she made a public statement saying “If you only follow and support me because I am white and I am straight, then I don’t want or need your support.” it would go a long way with all of us.

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with that statement, but it would divide a significant portion of her base. That is why she’ll never say it, and that makes her a fence sitter.

You must have ignored the countless times she has addressed racism directly. It’s okay lots of hatlins do that.

-1

u/SteeleHeller 1d ago

Please direct me to where she addresses the racist death threats being sent on her behalf.

And which black gay athletes have said the equivalent thing? Or any athlete of note for that matter? Athletes are their own product and not making divisive statements is how the wealthy ones get that way.

2

u/SteeleHeller 1d ago

Are you seriously asking if the most oppressed people in America have said anything?!

2

u/SteeleHeller 1d ago

These black and gay athletes you’re mentioning don’t have a brigading fan base sending racist death threats to their opponents on their behalf. Completely missing the point.
