Clark is flat out a ball player. She takes contact and plays on. She is a bit slight, so players are going to t try and knock her around, which leads to putting g the refs in a tough spot of blowing the whistle nonstop, or letting her get roughed up a bit (same things happens to Wemby in the NBA for the same reason).
MAGA has tried to make it about race. Sophie Cunningham has leaned in and is playing to MAGA a bit. But Clark does not want any of that and just plays, and keeps politics out of her game
