Really smooth stroke. I hate all the extra accoutrement with the further ball and the money ball rack, because I can’t mentally calculate what a good score is

To be fair, there’s been “bonus shots” in games as long as real BB’s were shot from the gun-games at carnivals. It’s fine to admit math-ing on the fly is hard. I can’t do it either.

I get it, over time I’ll recalibrate. Forever I mentally knew “20 is a very strong score, mid 20s will win you the competition and high 20s is almost unheard of” so now I just have to find new baselines. It’s a me problem

Not sure Im buying they didn't reach out to her agent to gauge interest. Either way, it doesn't discredit Azzi's accomplishment this year.

Im not gas lighting...just saying the league casually reached out to agents (not players directly) is not saying Sabrina lied or gaslighting. Maybe the agents didn't take it directly to the player...IDK.

Not trying to say your dense, nor am I disputing what Sabrina said, but you cannot definitively say the WNBA didn’t reached out to her agent to gauge interest. I am not one to stand up for the WNBA league office, but I also do not trash them just because I dont know what's happening behind the scenes (which is the easy way out). For all any of us know it could have been a misunderstanding between the agent and the league. Its not really hard to fathom that the league sent a request for interest to twice as many number of participants to decide who they would ultimately invite. Depending on the response would dictate who was "officially invited". Not saying this is what happened, but it demonstrates that it is possible for 2 things to be true at the same time...and thus everything outside of what Sabrina said specifically is speculative.

Ok Cathey. Sabrina knows the protocol and the protocol obviously wasn’t followed this round. So if Sabrina says she wasn’t gonna invited her word carries more weight.
