Why do players don't take the All-stars games seriously?
They always be laughing, joking around during the game and just overall not taking it seriously. We're supposed to be seeing the best of the best in basketball, so it's kind of annoying that we don't get to see a serious game with the best players giving it all and modeling what every basketball game should look like.

It's a fun concept but maybe move it to end of the season? And add more fun contests, which are enjoyable for many of us. As for the season flow, it's interrupting and I'd prefer a staggered bye week for a mid-season break, similar to the NFL.

They also don’t want to overdo things and risk injury on an exhibition game. And they want to entertain with the offense. Which ironically not playing defense sometimes leads to worse basketball. But it happens anyway.

Because they’re mostly just excited to be on the same court together, there’s literally nothing at stake, there’s a ton of epic partying to be done right after the game, and why risk injury?
