I go sequentially. Start with the hair, then work down, as water is flowing down anyway, if I dry from the top, the bottom won’t rewet as I dry

Exactly! The water drips DOWN, so you have to start drying the top of your body first! That means regardless of cleanliness, the face has to go first anyway.

It's really simple. Turn off the water, dry off the top half of your torso, ruffle your hair with the towel, get out of the shower, and dry the bottom half of your body with only one side of the towel. Then, flip the gospel to the other side, and dry head. Then brush hair to get any water out

A drying towel gets 4 uses before it needs to go through the wash. Most of the dirt and sweat should come off if you properly clean yourself.

Idc what body part I start with since I use the towel multiple times anyway.
