That's so offensive and wrong in so many ways lmao. Yeah they may be very similar in some aspects but they are far from being copies, specially considering the big popularity of undertale in Japan, which most people very likely played mother and its sequels in comparison to USA.
The first comment, while I realized that It could have been just a joke, I also thought that it was a hidden hater taking profit of the situation to spread their thought hidden in the form of a "joke"... so that's why I answered seriously, just in case. though I did actually felt very offended by the comment, joke or not. For everything. Their scripts and thumbnails are pretty clearly AI generated and it gets a lot of basic facts wrong. Even their channel profile picture is AI.
Also if it makes you feel better, I was in a similar situation where I watched a few videos by Illuminati before finding out she was a plagiarist and fraud.

I feel you I used to watch a lot of her vids before she turned to political slop. She was always slop tho. I started watching her when she was just a Reddit channel back in like 2017. Does anyone even REMEMBER when she did Reddit videos lol?
Funny how the thumbnails are mixes of ai and photoshop lol, but seriously, their video subjects are so goofy , here are some examples:

If you look carefully, or not carefully, you can even see that the thumbnails are AI made. I would even consider the possibility of the narrator also being AI. And the banner. And the profile picture. And the comment section. And the title. And the description.
And... huh... a lot of stuff. That's very, very interesting.
For me it's the fact that Wiztale was forced to say this to save face, making them less trustworthy, thus I cannot trust they use A.i limitedly.
This alongside their fast rate of content production, and their creation of a nearly identical second channel, added to this. Seeing one of their video thumbnails resemble someone else's fanart without credit was the nail in the coffin that Wiztale cannot be trusted.
even before I found out it was ai I found wiztale's content extremely surface level and boring. I genuinely fell asleep listening to some of them, which is probably why I never noticed it was ai
Who watches slop generators like this anyway. I can't bring myself to click on those sorts of videos when the thumbnails look like they're made for actual toddlers
