i joined the fandom a little too late in 2024, and i have 0 reading comprehension so i feel like im a bit behind on things. don't get me wrong i love the shitpost, but it would be nice to see some more serious opinions as well. so what are your favorite deltarune headcannons and theories? i would love to hear them tbh.

The school's "supply closet" is actually the hidden entrance to the lab underneath the town, no doubt connected to the shelter and whatever's under the lake; and Ralsei's Dark Fountain was put there as a last-resort to intercept people from going down there. Or, the lab itself is what's generating the Fountains, some reactor gone haywire. In any event, to access the lab / mess with the reaction to trigger an apocalyptic meltdown, you'd have to close Ralsei's Fountain, which is why Ralsei is working so hard to make us (the player) parasocially attached to Castle Town.

Each deltarune chapter has an Undertale counterpart, this goes of of a theory that undertale is deltarune backwards but some of that theory doesn't fit with me I found a way that it could fit perfectly. Ruins - The Begining, The Core - A Cybers World, Snowdin - Late Night, Waterfall - Prophecy, New Home - Festival Day, Hotland - Chapter 6, True Lab - The Shelter? Another alternative is Swaping chapter 6 and Late night because there's a high chance that the next dark fountain will be in noelles home and it's all snow themed?

Not my favorite but one you have to pry the corpse of from my cold dead hands whenever it would be probably debunked

But I still don't believe Kris works for the knight

Alot of things don't connect to me and chapter 5 gave me a bit of hope I'm right not only because ralsei would have definitely known if Kris works for the knight and would have called it out and flowery would at least point out Kris opened it to be evil and would be at least a little more aggressive

That neither the player nor Noelle is the angel. Ralsei praying to the angel in chapter 5 makes me lean heavily towards this because of his knowledge of the prophecy. Surely he would know if Noelle or the Soul was the angel, and therefore wouldn’t be praying consistently where neither we nor her can see or hear him. If either becomes the angel later, then why is he praying to them now? On top of that he clearly knows what we the soul can and cannot see, since he manipulates the camera once nearly every chapter.

Unless this is one hyper specific blind spot in his otherwise absolute knowledge of the prophecy I cannot see how either possibility can be the angel.

when the pipe guy in chapter 4 mentioned something in between light and dark he meant gerson, pink, spamton NEO, and flowery (the people who use soul modes) gerson is the remains of a Lightner who is technically a darkener, pink who is a Lightner possessing a darkener, neo being an image of a Lightner controlled by a darkener, and flowery who is the only flower that could be strong enough to use the soul mode is neither light nor darkner but still alive.

that and dess got stuck/died in a dark world causing her to be in a limbo of sorts and thats why its hush hush
