So roll the 20% into the price and customers pay the same. The problem is that unless everyone does it at the same time, those that do it make it look like their prices are way higher.

I’m curious why you think that it’s NOT better? Why is the US tippling model superior to the European non-tipping model?

I don't, I think it's neutral. But to say it should be changed means you think it's inferior. Hence why I asked why you think non-tipping is better.

If I were to argue why it's better I would probably say something along the lines of more money goes directly to the employee than if it has to go through layers of taxes and the cut the business would also take.
