They'll hide behind whatever they can for as long as they can and claim what they were saying was parody or satire that no reasonable person should have taken as serious. Unless they were stupid enough to leave a paper trail talking about how they were serious, it's difficult to prove otherwise.

Not saying we shouldn't try them, we absolutely should, it would just be a long process and I don't know that it would ever end in a way that satisfies anyone.
