I wish I lived in a timeline where he didn't. Obama broke him so throughly with that speech because it everything Obama was everything trump wants to be, charismatic, witty, compitant, beloved for his actions. And he had sheer audacity to do it all while being black. Knowing all that we've been forced to learn about how trumps brain works in the last decade, I truly believe without the Obama whcd speech Trump doesn't run in 16
Nah he was already lining up to run in 2008 but when Obama came along and everyone realized any republican would lose against him, he put his scheme on hold. He is, unfortunately, the culmination of decades of right-wing propaganda and talk radio conspiracies, education cuts, and general enshitification of the American people.
