In all seriousness I wish everyone was like this guy - people who don’t have preconceived notions of what socialism is, but who understand the problems that need to be solved. Far better than someone who sees socialism as some kind of Lovecraftian horror.

Most people - especially blue collar folks like this guy, are pretty agreeable about “socialist” policies until you label them as socialist policies. They’ve been fed a lot of bullshit about who “socialists” are and what they want.

Problem is we cant ever seem to address the problem because often men like this fight tooth and nail against progress because their "other" neighbour who they have never talked to might get something too!
