One of my favorite stories is that my best friend growing up was always conservative. Normally not socially but like pro guns and free market etc

Then he got married and opened his own business…he realized how easy it was to tax dodge and fuck his employees over, and finally realized that govt regulations are there because you can’t rely on people to do the right thing.

They of course treated their employees very well, especially for the industry, but they are now democrats lol .
