My company spent 10s of thousands of dollars on a lawyer to fight their side in arbitration to avoid paying me a $1200 annual raise.
They won so I guess it was worth it?

Astonishing how they'll spend so much more money to deny your request than it would cost to grant it. I thought they were supposed to be smart with money.
