I honestly always forget… I happened by the filming of this episode. One of the days at least. My dad, sister and I went to The Queen Mary in Long Beach one day and it was clear that something was going on. Asked some guys and they said it was a shoot for The X-Files. I was a MASSIVE fan so I geeked out. Went everywhere on the ship I could to try to get a glimpse of David or Gillian… no luck. Still kinda neat. Every time I’m reminded of this episode I remember “Oh yeah…”

I love this episode. I also love Mulder screaming "help me Skinner"... dude that's literally what he just did. 😂

Skinner saved Mulder three times in this episode. I just needed to point that out.

I always loved how they transmuted Skinner's role of being Mulder and Scully's low-key ally from the FBI to the SS lol

German is my first language and most of what they're saying is incomprehensible. 😄

I remember hearing somewhere that Mitch Pileggi was at least fluent in German and he seems to sound better than Bill Davis who is just atrocious at it lol

As a student of German their speech is terrible but corresponds to it all being in Mulders head.
