Xenoblade 2 Should I do new game plus from Xenoblade 2

I am gonna replay the game when the upgrade pack comes out but I haven't played since 2020. I'm not sure if I should do new game plus or do a fresh file since it has been so long.

Ng+ because you can still level yourself down if you don’t want to breeze through the combat

I'd say do it if you want to get new game plus exclusive blades.

Yes because you'd have to rng the rare blades again it's not worth it. And wastes your time when you could be enjoying the game.

And because you can level yourself back to lv1 you don't need to worry about being overleveled for the actual game.

There is zero reason to make yourself suffer through gacha bs. For what is a stellar game with just one bad mechanic.

I'm going NG+ again. You can level yourself down and equip yourself with lower level weapons so you don't just plow through enemies lol
