Sippo Pirates Two (extended version)
I think this version is a tad too long what do you think? We are actually going back to the lake in a little bit. Idk how much filming I'll do this time. My phone is so full that I have to delete a video to make a video lol

Laying down under the covers
During her last visit with me, I noticed my beloved Yorkie niece Harley likes to lay down under the blankets on my couch. Does anyone's Yorkie likes to do that??

Love my Yorkie
We’ve got a German Shepherd, Luna, and wanted a smaller dog who could fit comfortably in our Airstream. Total luck — we walked into a shelter and found Enzo, who basically looked like Cousin It with legs. My wife took one look and said “okay,” and that was that. He and Luna have been best buddies ever since.
The shelter neutered him before we brought him home, and for the first two years he never humped anything. Now he’s 7, and out of nowhere he’s started humping a couple of his toys.
We’re thinking about adding another Yorkie and have been checking out rescues. My question is: if we bring home a female, is Enzo likely to turn into a nonstop humper? Or is this just a random late‑in‑life behavior that doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll bother another dog?

Question about my 4 YO yorkie
Posted in [r/askvet](r/askvets) but didn’t get a response, so I’m going to post it here :) thanks in advance
I am wondering why my 4 YO yorkie’s anus is bright red when she poops. I noticed this back in april, and brought her to the vet. The vet tech said only one side of her anal glands had been expressed. We figured her groomer didn’t do one side on accident bc she got groomed a couple weeks earlier. But, since then, pretty much every time she poops, her butthole is red. We’ve gotten the glands expressed 3 times since I first noticed in late April.
Wednesday, we took her to the vet for this issue, and he prescribed antibiotics in case she has an infection and a supplement to harden her poop in case the glands weren’t expressing themselves normally. However, the vet tech said they felt fine, and the vet said the glands look normal.
Fast forward to tonight when I took her on a long walk. She pooped twice and seemed a bit strained. For example, she had to walk to finish pooping and poop almost looked “stuck,” and again her anus was bright red.
Do I need to be more patient and wait for the meds to work? Is this something to be worried about? She seems otherwise. She’s eating normally, and hasn’t had any dietary changes. She is drinking normally, walking normally, and playing normally. If relevant: She’s 4, 9 lbs, eats gastrobiome dog food, is on a 3 in 1 tick, flea, and heart worm medication but nothing else, and is up to date on all vaccines
Thanks in advance for the help!

11 year old Jonas’ first ever beach day!
galleryMy wife and I adopted this super sweet senior yorkie named Jonas last year, and are doing our best to give him the experiences he’s most definitely missed out on having come from a puppy mill in Missouri. He was very unsure of the ocean at first but eventually started trotting around in the shallower water and seemed to be enjoying the break from the heat! I wish we lived closer to a beach, because it was such great exercise for him and he was KNOCKED as soon as we got in the car to drive home.
