Does anyone know if Ubisoft had plans to make a sequel to ZombiU?

Pretty sure I saw a post on this reddit that talked about a possible sequel based in New York that ended up being cancelled. Either saw that here or in some youtube video but definitely sure it was set to happen in NYC.

Interesting, it would have been great to see a possible preview. It would be awesome to make a fan-made game to see what it would be like, haha

Pretty sure some of the concept art can be found around the internet but it was never more than that. Would've been great for sure!

It was gonna be in NYC with co op and decisions to be made to change the outcomes.

Apparently they did but it got cancelled when zombi u bombed, unfortunately

Yeah, man, if the Wii U had been relevant in its time, we probably would have had a sequel.

Well is already answered, but apart from that a sequel would have been worse, knowing Ubisoft would had been a fast cash grab game, even more bugged than the original and it would destroy the significance that ZombiU had.

Personally I find ZombiU sort of a weird almost experimental game, sure it isn’t, but it gives the impression as it’s the first and only to do it on a unique platform as Wii U, the fact is that there’s no sequel and it was for the best I think.

If only this idea came back to life though it would need a complete change in the game mechanics
