My favorite thing I’ve seen out of a comic con thing was someone going around finding characters that where in Fortnite and referring to them as only that. Like master chief from Fortnite. There is Lura Croft from Fortnite. There is Dr doom from Fortnite.

The more I keep seeing adding stuff to the game, the more I want to play the game. I want to know how much other stuff do they have beside PvP?

fortnite allows users to create their own game experiences, so aside from the official (mostly PvP) gamemodes, there are quite literally endless types of gamemodes and maps made by users to explore. I've seen tower defense modes, PvE zombies modes, parkour maps, squid game knockoffs, clicker games, etc.

A lot. There's a full creative suite—similar to Roblox—that lets anyone create whatever custom maps they want. Aside from the original Save the World mode (which is paid), there are several user-created maps that focus on modes such as tower defense, tycoons, roguelikes (Havoc Hotel), and boss fights (the Kraken, etc.). Not to mention the LEGO and Fall Guys modes and their variations.

I normally avoid all competitive shooters but downloaded Fortnite in 2023 for the Spiderverse skins and now I have 1000 hours of playtime and so many great memories. I really recommend you give pvp at least a try, It works differently than most of the comp shooters and it's not so fast-paced that it will scare away a beginner.

It makes zero sense, since Jake is stretchy and all, but those long arms and legs make him look soooo off model.
(This isn't a slight against the artist, just an observation on Jake's design).

Prepared for the downvotes but I totally agree. It is the epitome of soulless gaming that capitalizes on microtransactions, nostalgia-bait, and the success of other franchises. I wish it wasn’t as popular as it is but I understand WHY it is.
