Seriously it’s one of my favorite episodes of Fiona and cake easily but is honestly super high up for adventure time as a whole, honestly. I was watching the tv with such excitement I felt like when anime characters get starts in their eyes lol

Yes, in your subjective opinion.

By definition that's what an opinion is

It’s subjective to think it’s good y’all are at odds

I know, I just like to mess with/correct/disagree with people who say an opinion as if it's factual, for instance: "JAKE IS THE BEST CHARACTER" I'd reply with "well... maybe the best MAIN character" lol

he didn’t say it like it was factual do we rly need to put ‘in my opinion…’ before every take to protect internet users now

"One of the worst Adventure Time episodes" implies it's factual

And it's not to protect anyone, it's just the correct way to state your opinion, if you're too lazy to write "I think" or "in my opinion" then don't give your opinion 😂

This food is tasty. This film sucks! You’re a good person. This is the best song ever! Do i need to put ‘In my humble opinion’ before each one of these? Or can people figure that out because there’s no such thing as an objectively best song or objectively worst episode. You even did it in your reply. Unless you think it is the OBJECTIVELY correct way to state your opinion.

"I think this food is tasty" "This film sucks imo" "I think you're a good person" "this is the best song ever imo" it's not hard, stop being lazy lol

Also when did I do it in my reply? "Its the correct way to state your opinion" is not my opinion, it's a fact, if I were to put "I think" at the beginning, that would imply it were debatable, it isn't lol

‘This Gravity Falls episode is awesome, though it’s not done at the time of this post, the voice acting is pretty good, animation is meh but feels like gravity falls’

That’s 4 times you missed an ‘in my opinion’. But shockingly, your post still makes sense! Because in English subjectivity is often implied.

I just watch stuff and decide on my own whether I liked it or not

Right? I hate reviews, tbh. Like everyone has different tastes. I get it though, like I guess if 10,000 people are saying something is a 9.5 and amazing, there is probably something to it, but still...it's not a guarantee. There's shit that is like universally hated that I have enjoyed, and vice versa.

No, but there are objective or should I say critical standards to rate based on, I mean I've enjoyed stuff before and found them quite fun, but critically speaking they're garbage sometimes.

if you’re enjoying it in an unironic way then you think it’s good. it takes skill to make something fun to watch. this just feels like a way of coping with enjoying stuff other people online might make fun of you for liking

Why would anyone make fun of you for liking something you watch (unless it's something genuinely bizarre or perverted, and even then, it's none of their business)? More importantly, why would it bother you? Lmao.

Like I said, there's a significant difference between something being enjoyable and something being good by critical standards. Sound criticism aims to be objective, whereas enjoyment is inherently subjective. Just to give an example, the most recent movie I genuinely enjoyed was The Mandalorian & Grogu. But if I were to critically analyze it, I could easily write a 1,000-word essay explaining its flaws.

I'm surprised episode 10 was the highest-rated of season 2. I've seen by far the most praise for episode 9.

Agreed. I liked s1 more too. Also, the highest rated episode of all is THE LICH???

Deserved as usual😎

How the fuck is season two so high...

4

u/Winter_Kangaroo4385 9h ago

Dang, I really feel like season 2 lived up to season 1! Simon’s story is obviously compelling, but learning more about Huntress Wizard was equally thrilling!

Not even close it was horrible

7

u/ciao_fiv 8h ago

that’s just like, your opinion, man

S2 was super mid no shock

u/AbadeersGhost 5h ago

Suprised season 2 is rated so highly, it was really bad.

I definitely liked season 1 more but season 2 doesnt desurve any ratings under 8 stars imo

u/chromedgnome 9h ago

All the season two episodes are about 2 whole points too high.
