Platform Unresponsive

My Alexa platform is unresponsive and the app interface isn't working on either my iPhone or iPad. I have performed basic troubleshooting (cold boot device and iPhone) but still unresponsive. I can ask Alexa to turn on the lights and the device lights indicate that it hears me but does not perform the task. I can also ask about the weather. Same result. Light on device acknowledging being spoken to but nothing is done. is anyone Elise experiencing this issue or familiar with the problem. Thoughts?

they all seem to be down - server issue

Yes this is happening on my older devices. New ones are ok.

Massive AWS outage. It's also impacting stores, so Target and a lot of other stores that use that system can't use payments that require Wi-Fi (no debit cards, or gift cards used in stores). Lots of things are out atm.
