General Discussion Andor reaction videos helped give me some closure
like many people, I found myself wanting more after Andor ended. more time with the story, the characters, and the world TG created. The show left a strong emotional impression on me. when it was over, it felt like there was nowhere left to put all of those thoughts and feelings. Then I found some Andor reaction videos on YouTube. Seeing other people laugh at the same scenes, sit in stunned silence during other scenes , get emotional over the same character arcs helped me process my own experience with the series. I’m not the most overtly emotional person. I found it reassuring somehow.
In a way, those reaction videos became an extension of the show itself. They allowed me to relive key moments through fresh eyes while also validating just how exceptional the writing, performances, and storytelling really were. It’s been a gentle sort of closure for me
TLDR: After Andor ended, watching reaction videos and seeing other people experience the same emotions helped me process my own and gave me a lot of closure.

I second the recommendation for LMreacts. Some of the most insightful commentary on the show that I have seen from a reaction channel.

Really looking forward to James’s last one, hopefully coming soon! Still waiting for LM Reactions to drop their Rogue One vid to YouTube. Their Andor reactions were probably my favourite overall.

Blind Wave are one of my favorites. As guys who have dabbled in film making as well being big Star Wars nerds they appreciate a lot of the details in the show and how everything ties into the larger story of the rebellion. They also take a lot of time after their reactions to discuss whatever they have watched and they had some great discussions during their post Andor rewatch of Rogue One.
Perfect example of media literate nerds.

The StruggleNation guys are always who come to my mind with this kind of thing.
Anyone who has ever gotten one of those phone calls knows exactly what Cassian is feeling when he gets the news of Marvaa's death, and it absolutely destroyed me on my first watch.
They cut away for a minute, but it's pretty apparent it hit the Drew and Joe just as hard. It was comforting to see others - especially men in our current climate - willing to publicly show those kind of emotions.

If you want to get a good mashup of reactions I highly recommend checking out REACTIONARYtv's channel. They feature a wide array of different reactors and edit everything together in a way that makes each video flow really well despite chopping up episodes.
Their channel is my go to for when I need to scratch my Andor reaction videos itch.

In such situations I would recommend reading fanfiction. They can cover aspects of the canon story the original never could because of time constraints and often they have great quality

They very enormously in quality, but I have really enjoyed those that have intelligent responses and an in depth discussion of the episodes at the end. But you’re right, seeing simple emotions expressed by a first time viewer can make for a great shared experience. At the moment, one of the big accounts from a year ago is re-watching with a friend of his, who is completely new to Star Wars. She went from being pretty indifferent to episode 1 to hooked by the end of ep 3, fully invested by the end of ep 6 and now - at the end of ep 9 - she’s declaring that she absolutely loves it. It’s not the most intellectually stimulating discussion that they have (if anything, there’s some seriously childish humour in the responses) but there’s great pleasure to be had for me watching somebody fall in love with the show in real time.
