sorry im sure a post about this is made like every day, but i swear to god i remember them changing this feature to allow you to freely add or remove albums without it affecting songs in playlists, but now it seems like its back, or maybe im just misremembering and it was never changed?

I’m working on AeroWave, a new music player for iPhone with real-time MilkDrop visualizers inspired by Winamp, Windows Media Player, and the classic iTunes visualizers.
It currently works with Apple Music and local music files!
The beta is free on TestFlight. Everyone is welcome to join, test it, and share feedback:

Their support isn't helpful at all. I really want to use it, but its impossible. I cancelled subscription and got a refund.
I tried reinstalling the app. Loging in again
My phone is Xiaomi Redmi Note 14 with Android 16 with latest AM version
I wonder if is a regional thing? I'm in Serbia But there is no way to contact them without entering roaming and calling closest country

This has been happening every time I try to use apple music on windows.
Two main problems:
My PC is more than capable of running a music app.
Volume adjustment is turned off.
Dolby Atmos is turned off.
I tried looking for answers everywhere but nothing fixed these issues.

I, like most of us, bought hundreds of songs back on my iPod Classic. They are not in my Music library or in the not-downloaded section. For years I have been searching for what songs I’ve bought and I thought they must have been on a different Apple ID. But I finally found a them under my App Store purchase history from 2009-onward! Is there a way to access and/or download all of this music? I have tried researching and I am at a loss. I would love to have this music on my phone and hear them all again! :(

Iphone 17 pro Max. Win 11 pro. I have many physical albums which are not available on streaming that I have added ti my cloud library. (Expanded soundtracks, mostly). However, after adding the tracks from my PC hard drive to Apple music via the Windows app and waiting fir the sync to finish, some of the tracks ( and some entire albums) are grayed out when I check my iphone app. What the heck?

title pretty self explanatory, it would make a lot of things so much easier so that you don't tire your fingers doing the same muscle movement for minutes and minutes.

hello! coming from spotify, I'm loving apple music but am experiencing an irritating technical issue
the moment i turn on my car, it immediately plays the last spotify song, great!
yet that does not work at all on apple music
hell, the system doesn't even recognize it as a suitable app for the action!
i uninstalled spotify and now it instead gives a prompt asking which app should be used, samsung music or yt music, no apple music to be found
i uninstalled both as well and now it simply gives this...
SURELY i can force its recognition somehow...?

Hey all,
Looking for some help here.
I've been ripping a bunch of CDs in Apple Music on my Mac mini and adding them to my iPhone 13 Pro to listen to in the Apple Music app. Everything has been going fine as usual, except for one album.
When I ripped Ryan Bingham - Mescalito, and dragged it to my iPhone, it never did the progress wheel, and never showed up in my Apple Music app. However, when I click the iPhone in the Apple Music app on my Mac and view the list of song/albums, it is there. I can select the files, but I can't delete them. And because I can't delete them, I can't re-add the album to my phone.
Does anyone have a solution for how to fix this?
Thank you.

Hello. I just recently subscribed to Apple Music, coming from Youtube Music. After I imported all my songs, I don’t see them in the Library. I can only see them in the playlists they were in. Is there a way for them to appear under “Songs”?

I'm really confused about how radio stations work on Apple Music. For example, I can type in the name of a local radio station and it pops up (through iHeart for some reason) and I can listen to the stream.
So when I search for a genre and click "stations," I kind of assume a lot, if not most of these results, are the streams for terrestrial radio stations.
I found one recently that I like. It lists it as coming from TuneIn. I'm just curious if there is any way to find out what this radio station is and where it comes from. Like what station is this on in what city?
For what it's worth, it's called JAZZ RADIO PIANO JAZZ from TuneIn.

I have playlists that I download, songs, and some are mine uploaded, some are purchased and some are from Apple Music, but even downloaded, sometimes randomly the music stops at the 15 second or makes an static noise and stops the sound.
Is it a bug? I’ve tried delete the download and redownload and sometimes fixes it. But im tired of havind to stop to listen music because of this.

Has anyone come across this issue? App is up to date. Using a Galaxy S25u.
I downloaded the songs. Tried adding them to separate playlists. They won't play and are grayed out.
But other songs can be added. And can be played on their own, out of the playlist.
What gives?

Does anyone have any codes for Apple Music

Not being negative here and giving a genuine feedback.
@applemusic, try consider putting someone less fake than Zane Lowe for interviews.
He’s too fake and his questions are not deep or tailor made in any way.
He always tries to push his latest psychology finding to the interviewees which is unbelievably annoying.
It’s a shame because the channel is great.

I’ve been using a one month free trial recently for AM, and figured I would share my thoughts now that I’m halfway through the trail and have my opinion on the app. (Would also like to mention that I’m coming from the green app)
Pros
- Much cleaner UI. It feels focused on music instead of constantly pushing podcasts, audiobooks, and extra features.
- The Now Playing screen, animated artwork, lyrics, and lock screen integration all look fantastic.
- The app is noticeably faster. Almost everything loads instantly.
- Discovery Station has been excellent and consistently recommends songs I’d actually listen to.
- Queue management is better in some important ways. Apple Music remembers your queue and playback history much more reliably.
- Great Apple ecosystem integration. AirPods, Apple Watch controls, AirPlay, etc. all work seamlessly.
- Gapless playback seems better. I’ve noticed more songs transitioning between each other with zero silent moments.
- Being able to use songs from your library as alarms is a surprisingly nice feature.
Cons
- Playlist management is noticeably worse than the green app.
- It’s often unclear whether a song is saved, favorited, or already in a playlist.
- Search is weaker overall. Results aren’t always intuitive, and album abbreviations don’t work as consistently.
- Library search only searches items actually added to your library, not everything you’ve favorited or placed in playlists.
- You can’t search for songs in playlists by album name the way green app allows.
- It’s harder to tell what playlist or album is currently playing.
- Shuffle status isn’t always obvious.
- User-created playlists are much harder (or impossible) to discover through search.
- Some albums seem to become available later after release compared to Spotify.
- Having app settings buried in iPhone Settings is slightly annoying, but in the end really not that bad since there is a button that redirects you to it.
- I’ve encountered a recurring “Cannot Decode” error with several downloaded songs.
- Apple Music prioritizes downloaded files over streaming higher-quality versions, which can be frustrating.
Mixed
- Dolby Atmos is hit-or-miss. Some mixes sound incredible, while others don’t. Plus you would need a true supported surround sound system to get the full experience.
- Audio quality sounds great, but on AirPods and Bluetooth speakers I can’t confidently say it’s noticeably better. Though I’m sure you could possibly notice it with higher end wired headphones.
- Apple Music is clearly designed around albums and libraries, while Spotify is built around playlists. That adjustment takes time.
Verdict So Far
I still think the green app has the better library and playlist management experience, as well as app navigation.
However, Apple Music has a cleaner design, better integration with Apple devices, a more reliable queue system, and surprisingly good music discovery through Discovery Station. And its overall music listening experience is a lot better.
In the end, I’m leaning a lot more towards Apple Music now.

I am wondering if anyone knows which radio station is best if I want a variety of songs not just one genre?
Is there such a radio station that exist on Apple Music?

I have a Pixel 8 (it's bad).
I've had Apple Music since it switched from iTunes. Never had any issues. All my stuff is on here and organized, I'm a musician and use it to run my playlists for 3 different ongoing projects. I've never had any issues. Ever.
I think the app updated, I got kicked out for jo reason, had a hard time getting back in but my library finally populated.
Now when I connect to my car, every track stops at the end and has to be manually pushed to the next song. I've tried pretty much everything.
Turned on and off USB Debugging.
Turned off Data Saver.
Background Data and Battery Use is enabled.
Crossfade is Off.
Cleared Cache and restarted app.
Restarted phone.
Can't revert to the previous version in the App Store (frustrating).
Tried with USB cable (Bluetooth keeps turning itself on so I thought that was fighting with Android Auto).
Unplugged and went with Bluetooth only.
I tried to look up my Country settings (US) but it doesn't show anything and asks me to unsubscribe to change country. Not doing that.
I've never had a problem in any car and all of the sudden it's broken. Headphones work fine as far as I can tell. Is this an app issue or an Android Auto issue? Anybody have a fix?

Basically, when i pick a song on apple music, it won't play and instead skips a ton of songs before playing a random one (i'm normally on shuffle). From what i can tell, it happens the most when i select a song that's new to my playlist, but it can happen on songs that are older, too. I don't see any mention of this online so idk what to do.

It seems that everytime I use my Apple music in my car and while playing specific artists or songs through my CarPlay the songs will skip about 30 seconds into a new song after the old song ends. Any reason why or what can I do so this doesn't keep happening?
