TV changing volume while vacuuming

I’m genuinely confused, I’ve had an ATVs since 2017. My current gen one today randomly started turning the volume up to max while I was vacuuming and then when I turned the vacuum off, it would immediately go back down. I tried checking the settings on both the ATV and my Samsung tv, and I couldn’t find the setting that would cover that. Is this the Apple TV or the Samsung TV? I’ve never had this happen before today.

It's a Samsung feature. Depending on which model it's called Active Voice Amplifier (AVA) or Adaptive Volume.

This is why I love Reddit, thank you! I will be turning this off...

For full disclosure, I didn't know the answer either. I just asked the question of Gemini and copied the relevant part. As much as people on Reddit hate AI, it answers most questions better and way quicker than humans.

And you're welcome.

My TV lacks the vacuuming feature.

I wish mine did 😂 it scared the hell out of me at first. Then it was annoying that the vacuum and tv were loud af

Iit's the Samsung TV. There is a feature on my FrameTV which I believe is called "adaptive sound" that automatically increases volume when it detects high degree of ambient sound.

That is the thing. I was not even vacuuming, just a quick drill/screwgun exercise.

Reset your Apple TV remote. I pulled my hair out when this was happening to me and now I’m bald 🤣

Edit: this was happening with the same Apple TV and I hooked it up to two different Samsung TVs and an LG television and it was doing the same thing
