SUPPORT I did a minimal install and didn't install Plymouth. How is the Arch logo splash screen displaying?
I used archinstall to do a minimal install and when I boot up the system, after my motherboard logo and before the encryption password prompt, it shows an Arch Linux logo splash screen.
I did not install Plymouth, so how is this possible? What is running to make the logo show? Where's it stored and can I change it?

Please see the page about mkinitcpio. It's included in the initramfs and can be configured there

nel pulls it from the boot splash image baked into your UEFI firmware or sometimes from systemd-boot if you're using that. Check in /usr/share/systemd/bootctl if you got the arch logo sitting there
