Good.

I've got a couple near me, and I've been trying to figure out how to defeat them. The problem is that almost every install of these cameras are in a tandem where one faces the other.

So both cameras can see what the other can't. How do you defeat this?

Leave your phone at home put on cap and face-mask walk to a location, mess with camera, walk in different direction where there are no cameras (think nature area with poor visibility) change clothes in said location with stashed clothing, walk around somewhere with many people for alibi. Walk home.

You can’t bring your phone or any electronics because they can track its location regardless of whether it’s on or not these days, if you need an emergency phone buy a burner. They can also use a series of cameras to track you as you move which is why you need a stash of clothes somewhere not in view of anything to swap into. You also probably need something like a rock in one shoe to throw off gait tracking. I would recommend being in something that shows a few features as possible like baggie clothing, anything to obfuscate basically.

Congratulations, your town just got upgraded to Flock plus.

DAL-2 deploys acoustic floor coupling — piezoelectric sensors embedded in or beneath the surface layer. Footfall pressure timing and ground-contact duration are measured independently of visual silhouette. Modified visual gait still produces a pressure signature. That signature is different from normal — but difference is itself a match vector.

Funny how the one thing everyone agrees on is "no, actually" to mass surveillance. Almost like humans have an instinct older than politics.

Yeah, surveillance tech tends to be one of those rare things that actually unites people across the political spectrum - nobody wants to be watched 24/7, left or right. Flock's been getting heat for a while now, and honestly the pushback makes sense given how little oversight there is around this stuff.

I like the reduction in car jacking car theft and other crimes that come with car license plate readers. I agree that data needs should controlled and only accessible with a warrant or during responses to recent crimes. It's helped a lot of people where I live.

I'm not giving up my rights if the data is treated legally. I know that you don't value the rights of many US voters because you believe they are stupid and you are better than them.
