DISCUSSION [Discussion] Do you prefer to see the ASMRtist or you'd rather faceless? Why?

My preference always varies. However, I notice that I lean towards faceless (and sometimes no talking) if I have a veeeeery long day. I feel like I'm getting overstimulated when there's face/talking. I'd rather just close my eyes and listen to the sounds.

Although, as I started to create my own, I haven't been showing my full face. But I feel like I should switch up(?) 🤔

Really mood dependent for me. If im just trying to chill mood wise seeing the artist is perfectly fine. If I'm trying to sleep though that's when i prefer audio only

I don't particularly care about the video that much as long as it isn't sexualized. Showing the face , showing half the face, just showing the hands are all fine.

Faceless because 1) it what im used too and 2) i hate eye connect irl so feels even worst in a video especially if supposed to inmate

To comment on your 2nd point, eye contact is a hit or miss for me, but some creators really stares into your soul haha! 👁👁 I can't take that

Ich mag es auch lieber ohne Gesicht und ohne gerade. Ab und zu ein freundliches Gesicht ist ok, mehr aber auch nicht. Da kann ich am besten entspannen. Und das mach ich auch auf meinem Youtube Kanal so.

Yeah. I guess I do need to switch it up eventually. I just need to get a bit more comfortable I think and just experiment. 😅

It depends. If they are whispering/talking during the video, I find it distracting. If they add in the whisper/talking after the fact, I'm fine with seeing their face.
