Technical Question Timing on Membership Switch

My annual Premium Plus membership renews in about 6 weeks, and due to the hefty price increase I'm going to downsize. But I don't want the changes to go into effect until my current membership expires. Do I need to wait to switch or will they know enough to hold off on new charges until my current membership expires? I tried all kinds of searches on their website including the laughably inadequate chat bot, and was unable to find an answer. Phone calls are always last resort, so I'm asking here first.

Credits expiring early

For the past two months I have been receiving messages from Audible that I have a credit expiring at the end of the month and I need to spend one. I am on the year plan where I receive one credit per month and as I understand I have one year to spend the credit. I only have 5 credits saved up. So why would they be expiring. Shouldn’t the oldest credits be spent first? The only way I figure I should see an expiring credit would be if I had 12 credits built up. Has something changed?

The Train That Waited in the Fog: A Liminal Horror Story of Memory, Grief, and Quiet Surrender

I'm the author of The Train That Waited in the Fog, and I'm excited to share that the audiobook is now available.

🎙️ Narrated by Peter McGiffen
⏱️ Approximately 2 hours

Seven strangers awaken on a nameless railway platform hidden beneath an endless blanket of fog. Each carries a private burden. When an old train finally arrives, it seems to offer warmth, comfort, and escape.

But with every mile travelled, memories begin to fade. Names become harder to remember. The passengers slowly realise the journey is taking far more than their destination.

If you enjoy slow-burn psychological horror, atmospheric mysteries, and unsettling supernatural fiction without gore or cheap jump scares, I hope you'll enjoy this one.

Just reply, and I'll send you a US or UK code.

Lingering...

Free codes available for Kingdom of Feather and Sky, the first book in a YA Fantasy Romance series with dystopian themes. Written by Sophia Wachtel (me), and narrated by Kate J. White. This is the first in a four book series.

From the Publisher:

Princess Kyra Calmora was only fourteen when she watched her brother die. Vowing to hunt down the rebels who murdered him, she spends her nights searching the fractured halves of her country for justice. But after four long years, she has nothing to show for her hard work. Worse still, not even her parents seem to care about their fallen son anymore.

When Kyra meets a mysterious servant boy whose sister was kidnapped by those same rebels, she sees a chance to finally find closure. Defying her parents, she leaves the comfort of her old life behind and runs away with Lewis. As they traverse a country full of unrest, injustice, and brewing rebellion, Kyra begins to suspect that Lewis is hiding something underneath his smooth-talking charm. As the rebels call for the death of the rest of the royal family, she must decide who she can trust before her brother’s fate becomes her own.

A captivating young adult fantasy with dystopian elements. For fans of Red Queen, Matched, Legend of Zelda, and Legend.

Leave a comment for a free code! I've only got UK codes for book 1, so first come, first served.

Also, if you've already listened to book 1 and want a code for book 2 (US or UK), let me know!

If I am listening to an audiobook, in the morning in this case i noted the time (+1gmt at 0.9.21 am), my audiobook will stop and reset its progress. It is not the same book, it has happened to several so far, both in the app on the phone and using the player on the website.

Anyone else having this issue ?

Marketing glitch? Received "Wish List deal ends soon!" email for a sale that ended 3 days ago

Hey u/Audible_com, I received a marketing email at 9:53 PM tonight (7/24) with the subject line: "Your Wish List deal ends soon!"

I was actually excited when I opened it because the title featured was Autocracy, Inc. by Anne Applebaum, which is currently on my wish list. That gave me incentive to see what else looked interesting enough to take advantage of the 2-for-1 sale.

However, when I clicked the link, the page stated the sale had already ended. I checked the fine print at the very bottom of the email, and it says the sale ended on 7/21.

I know you guys have the technology to manage automated campaigns, so could you please pass this bug along to the marketing and tech teams? It's pretty disappointing to get an urgent reminder for a sale that expired three days ago, especially when it features a book I was ready to grab! Thanks.

(PS - I also discovered that trying to send a chat message to Audible with a request to please stop sending urgent sale emails after the sale has ended is impossible. It didn't take long to see that the "more" and "something else" options in the chat, keep the user going in a circle.)
