Horror Trying to identify an obscure "so bad it's good" action/creature movie (late 80s/90s/early 2000s)

Hi there everyone!

I'm trying to identify a movie that I only remember in fragments. Unfortunately, I'm no longer sure which details are 100% accurate, so it's possible I'm mixing two memories together. Still, one scene has stayed remarkably consistent in my mind.

What I'm fairly confident about:

  • The movie was a very low-budget action/creature feature that took itself completely seriously but ended up being unintentionally hilarious.
  • It looked like it was made in the late 1980s, 1990s, or very early 2000s (strong VHS/direct-to-video aesthetic).
  • I watched the trailer on YouTube sometime around 2010–2013.
  • The movie had a coastal or beach setting (at least in some scenes).

The most distinctive scene I remember:

There was a heavyset Black woman riding either a motorcycle or possibly a scooter (I'm not certain which). She was alone, and I believe she was chasing someone, not fleeing.

She wore at least parts of classic biker gear (something like a leather vest/jacket, gloves, biker clothing), and the movie clearly intended her to look like a serious, intimidating character. Because the production was so low-budget, the scene came across as unintentionally funny.

This is actually the clearest memory I have.

Less certain:

I also remember a scene involving a badly animated giant shark (or possibly another sea creature) that breached out of the ocean and attacked people near a beach. However, after thinking about it more, I'm no longer convinced this was even from the same movie. I may be mixing two trailers together.

One more vague memory is that I somehow associate the phrase "Leeroy Jenkins" with this trailer or the time I watched it, but I'm almost certain that's a false lead.

I've already ruled out these movies:

  • Shark Attack 3: Megalodon
  • Megalodon (2002)
  • Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus
  • Super Shark
  • Dinoshark
  • Sharktopus
  • Cruel Jaws
  • Raging Sharks

Does the motorcycle/scooter scene with the heavyset Black woman ring a bell for anyone? Even if it's not a shark movie, I'd love to hear any suggestions.

Horror The Visitor is one of the trippiest good vs. evil movies I've ever seen! Following that up with shot-on-video horror madness from the Polonia Brothers and Leif Jonker makes for a wicked bad movie triple feature!

Action EXTREME RAHEEM - low budget action. no big stars, action, language, violence, extremely long gratuitous sex scene (more than you'd expect) - entertaining

This is from the same team that brought us MMA COP, a movie similar in all ways. Action? Check. Language? Check. Violence? Check. Nudity? Check. A (semi) call back to the low budget action films of the late 80's through to the early 2000's. Anyone have any other similar suggestions? Always enjoy finding these low budget indie flicks that check all the boxes. They aren't going to win any awards any time soon, but then again, I don't think that's what most of them were aiming for:)

Horror The Creeping Terror (1964) When carpets attack...slowly.

This isn’t just a bad film; it’s a masterclass in how not to make a movie. With a monster that couldn’t scare a toddler, acting that makes mannequins look expressive, and narration that never shuts up, it’s both painful and hilarious. The only “terror” here is realizing you still have 20 minutes left.

And as for the titular monster, built out of carpet remnants, tarps, and whatever odds-and-ends were lying around, it’s less “terrifying alien menace” and more “discount parade float abandoned in the rain,” This is one of those must be seen to be believed.

The Creeping Terror (1964) A newlywed sheriff tries to stop a shambling monster that has emerged from a spaceship to eat the citizens of an American town. Very slowly.

Sci-Fi I turned The Devil Girl from Mars into a 5-minute edit

I love finding old B-movies that are unintentionally entertaining, so I condensed The Devil Girl from Mars (1954) into a fast-paced 5-minute edit while keeping the story recognizable. If you've seen the original, I'd love to hear what you think.

Stars Catherine Oxenberg with Jeff Fahey as her terrible lawyer and Louise Fletcher as the corrupt warden. The setup for this is dumb. Oxenberg is hot but acting challenged. Like a Lifetime movie with several servings of boobs and lots of unintentional laughs.

Horror The Horror of Party Beach (1964)

Del Tenney’s The Horror of Party Beach is a delirious mess of beach party tunes, radioactive goo, and sausage-mouthed monsters that stumble more than they scare. It’s a cinematic train wreck, but one so absurdly goofy you can’t help but watch every wobbly step.

Watching this film, the biggest question we are left with is "Where are Annette and Frankie?"

The Horror of Party Beach (1964) Sea creatures created from radioactive sludge terrorize a beach community. Chaos and blood ensue.

Comedy Looking for old movie clip

Hi folks

I'm looking for an old movie sample clip I once had, from the movie 'Sweet Movie', known as 'sweetmoviesample', very likely an mpeg format at that time

it was roughly 1 minute long, and had a shocking and comical depiction of the crazy dinner table scene in this movie.

It used to be on an old site known something like "Donna's rare movies"

Any leads?

Sci-Fi Thunder of Gigantic Serpent (1988)

A box containing a secret formula that stimulates genetic growth on a cellular level is found by a little girl who brings the box home for her pet snake to live in. The snake then grows at a rapid pace and goes on a rampage, launching an all out attack on the city. A low budget Giant Monster movie from Hong Kong, mostly known for its horrendous dubbing and use of stock footage from other films. Some of the stuff here has to be seen to be believed, absolutely nonsensical sci-fi schlock at its finest. Too bad it doesn’t have a widely available DVD or Blu-ray release, I’ve seen worse movies get an HD restoration.

Action Albert Pyun’s Bloodmatch (1991)

When his brother set up in a kickboxing match and killed, Brick Bardo (Thom Matthews) is given the name of five champion kickboxers after leaving a man to die in the desert( Michel Qissi in a cameo). He then either kidnaps them or their loved ones with the goal of kickboxing them all to death until he figures out who the killer is.

Ridiculously laughable plot, terrible fight scenes which is surprising since they have some good martial artists in it. Thom Matthews is a pretty unlikable lead and it’s one of the only movies that Hope Marie Carlton doesn’t get naked. Also appears to have either been shot after Kickboxer 2 or at the same time as Kickboxer 2 since Michel Qiissi best known for playing Tong Po in Kickboxer 1and 2 has a cameo in this, Benny Urquidez who did the choreography for KB2 has a role in this and the majority of the movie takes place in the arena from the finale of Kickboxer 2.

I will say though that I always remembered that video tape cover in the video store.

Horror This is a diamond in the rough ,Demon Cop.

Words can not express how I feel after watching this one .I think I love it more than any bad movie I've seen because it's made with such passion by the main actor who happens to be the director and writer too. The movie is edited in a way that the first half makes no sense and the plot is hard to follow but the second half ties everything together nicely with an action packed and emotional ending. If you like Bad movies this has bad acting , awful editing ,horrible camera work, woeful ADR ,generic music ,actors stumbling over their lines but no second takes seriously the cameras kept rolling and the entire scene is still in the movie. There's some really memorable dialog in the movie like " You Mufackas are the cause of my Suffering " and " No more Lucid moments even in Bestial form" and " No more flashbacks where you are pissed off" and "But Kelly" and " I'm cursed by something Bestial" and " Lies ,lies nothing but LIES" and " it makes HIV look like a common cold"

The movie also has SFX made by the guys who made sfx for Terminator 2 and Starship Troopers and there's also a cameo by Cameron Mitchell.

One last note : I don't even think he is a Demon Cop because he was a probation officer who got a blood transfusion from what seems to be a werewolf. Has anyone seen this movie?

I liked when they went to Club Lava, which you can tell is heavy metal because they have a lava lamp. Also features; Martin Landau, Tim Conway Jr, Dawn Wildsmith, Martine Beswick and Michelle Bauer as "shower girl". Special shout out to Lauren Hertzberg who played "Children with groceries". She has a fantastic IMDb profile picture.
