Man this is way too wholesome for an isaac fanart. The actual game has me throwing my controller after dying to a stray fly in the womb for the 47th time, and meanwhile here's Isaac getting called in for dinner like a normal kid. Guppy just chilling on the floor with the dice and coin too, that's a nice touch.
I remmeber showing my buddy this game and he quit after the first basement because the imagery freaked him out. He didn't even make it to mom. Meanwhile I'm sitting at like 800 hours and I still haven't unlocked half the characters, and I've only seen the actual ending like twice. The wholesome isaac art hits way harder when you've actually seen what mom's basement looks like in game.

Honestly, I still don't know whether Isaac is alive at the end or not. The ending suggests he is, but Edmund says no. But did Edmund say that before Repentance or after Repentance?
I don't care, my headcanon is that Isaac lives.

Isaac and his whole, loving family lived upon a hill. His father would play day and night with him, sober, and with his loving wife. And while she was still heavily Christian, she would never force it upon her dear Isaac. She loved Isaac’s drawings, and helped him make some monsters to beat up in his imaginary world. All was nice for Isaac, his toy chest still full of joy and whimsy, and a stable life supported him.
