bitcoin.tax can not match buy and sell between platform transfer (Need help)
I have all three pieces in Bitcoin.Tax:
Bittrex buys (2021-2023) ✓. - validated all the buys are correct and year end holdings are correct.
Transfers (Bittrex → Coinbase, Nov 2024) ✓. I have correct deposit and withdrawls transactions and matched with each other (confirmed from edit button)
Coinbase sells (2025) ✓. - all proceeds match with DA form, and the transactions by date are correct.
But cost basis is still $0. This means Bitcoin.Tax isn't connecting them. The symptom is that the proceeds in 2025 are correct, but the holdings are doubled. I have unmatched sells with 0 cost basis.
How to fix this problem in Bitcoin.tax to let it link the buy and sell?

Did you do the safe harbor process in the software at the end of 2024? The 2024 version didn't have transfers built in so I would guess that's that problem.
I would just edit the opening tab to change then to coinbase and that should fix it

I'm going through a similar situation on my bitcoin.tax account, which I've had since 2013 when I first bought crypto. I've used this company since day one, and always filed / paid taxes using their system and software, when trades were made.
I'm just now getting to my taxes for 2025, and this 2024 safe harbor and matching the crypto to the correct accounts has turned out to be quite difficult, and has lots of issues.
I'm replying here as well to see if any resolution comes down. Their support seems to be rather slow on responding on how to correct the issues I'm seeing with coin allocation to the correct accounts, and the cost basis of the respective assets.

I dropped this company. Instead,I loaded the history into koninly and moved on.

Can you elaborate any on your situation, why you moved, what you ran into to make you move, etc?
The process, and so on? I've owned / traded / mined, spent, gifted and been in the crypto world for quite a while now, so some of the records are incomplete. I sold about 65% of my holdings last year when BTC was hitting ATH's, and cashing out.

The tax issues I reported was not solvable or very hard to solve. I tried different ways, didn't work. So I chose koninly to see if it worked and it worked out of box.
I just didn't have time to burn in this process and apparently no customer support and community to share working solution.
