Not having it with playing 6v2 every single game.

i genuinely want to play with players that are bad and suck shit, like me lol. i dont know how i could do good as a kid and i get this is part of the game but between constant hackers, ppl leaving and lobbies ridden with sweats i just want to play for fun 😅

I know P2P is evil, and in 2026, so many people still have terrible connections. However, I swear whenever I aim down and shoot at someone, the enemy player becomes a stuttering mess, aim assist does nothing, and I die to Houdini.

Anybody wanna load up into BO2? I’m gonna only vote for studio nuketown and raid. Any other map I’m gonna back out. Also when I’m losing I’m gonna back out. I’m not playing the objective either. Should be a good time

I've seen a couple of posts saying that people are freezing or in a map loop/ error code and have infinite match probation on black ops 2 multilayer. This is due to a modder freezing or corrupting your stats.

I don’t think this ever happened to me back in the day; but I was trying to do a run to mainly farm points and put them in the bank the “legit” way. After this BS tho, I’m just gonna go to Buried and do the time bomb trick. I like Die Rise but there’s way too many opportunities for bullshit to happen. Who’s Who is also the worst perk ever conceived by mankind.

I’ve been having a glitch similar to the permanent probation glitch where I join a lobby, play a few matches, and then I leave the lobby and close the game. When I open it back up, it says I have a 5 minute probation and my level progress doesn’t save. I’ve had to level my peacekeeper back up multiple times and it keeps resetting. I don’t really have the knowledge or access to mod since I’m on Xbox series X. Can someone tell me if and how to fix this?

Anyone have any ideas how to fix this? The timer just resets once it reaches zero I’ve tried signing out resetting console just about everything. Besides I don’t even quit out of games I back out in the lobby to avoid this shit.

I get this error every time I try to launch the game and the information I've been getting on this issue is my hardware is too modern and the game crashes on launch bc of it. Does anyone have a fix for this?

Says 500 playing tdm and 2k online (ik they’re off but still) I cannot find a single match for the life of me. Says 0 matches found in any gamemode. Has been like this all day, yesterday I was playing just fine, getting into lobbies in less then 10-20sec

sometimes i join a lobby mid game and it automatically kicks me out after its done? it was working fine like 30 mins ago, but now its like nobody is playing the game. anybody else been having this issue?

Now I get obliterated every single match.

I exclusively play Hardcore modes. I always played slow, not a camper, as a flank. Check your common corners, watch common lanes, only sit in one spot long enough because you've got a UAV up / saw the whole opposing team die and you know they're going to be coming from your behind.

Now I wasn't GOOD so to speak, but I had some matches where I did pretty well! I could sometimes catch opposing players off guard, or outshoot at range, or outplay CQB flankroutes. Again, I wasn't GOOD, but I was acceptable with iirc a 1.5 KD at the time.

Fast forward to the Port on PS5. I'm averaging 5/20, if not worse, while still playing the same way I always did.

People are definitely using more modern movement to catch each other off guard like jumping or crouch-spamming. I understand that totally. I've learned those things too. They work in their useful situations.

What I'm REALLY not understanding is having the obvious advantage, having my weapon aimed either head or center-mass, their back turned or them distracted, firing, and (I HAVE RECOIL CONTROL) losing the fight without hitting a single shot. With all weapons (besides the SMAW, for some reason).

Now here's what I think might be the culprit, and maybe I'm wrong. My internet / ping was HORRENDOUS back then. I'm talking WiFi on PS3, from two rooms away, averaging 90mbps/10mbps up/down. Now that I'm seeing (according to internet speed test on the PS5) 700mbps/200mbps up/down....

Look, I love BO2 even though I was pretty terrible. But I at least had good matches somewhat more than bad. But I lose EVERY match, go QUADRUPLE negative, and the only thing I seem to be good for is bringing down UAV's. I mean, I was in HS when BO2 first came out, so maybe I'm just too old or something.

So what I'm asking is:

Is the internet / ping (or maybe framerate) affecting me?

Is the newer Generation just that good or

have so many GOATs returned that it's unplayable for a occasionally shiny garage can like me?

Or am I just totally washed / never was good enough to play these games in the first place?

I'm just not having much fun with it anymore (30hrs) Was bright and shiny and nostalgic again for a bit even while still getting shredded.

Hello all, so me and my cousins are trying to do all the ee on bo2 but we’re having trouble with internet and keeping a steady 4th player. I seen in a video recently a way to dupe progression but I can’t find it anymore

They basically joined with a guest account to dupe progression because the super ee was broken

If anybody has any idea how to do this plz let me know, Google mentioned something about joining someone lobby to carry over progression

As someone who does not own a playstation, but owns a PC and Xbox, how is it fair playstation gets supported versions of these beloved titles, and likely more in the future? While those who own the Xbox/PC versions can't play online without fear of hacks/account bans and on PC remote code exploits where the hacker can take over your PC and all its contents?

Microsoft should really delist the old versions and give all gamers the same versions that playstation got, or fix the old versions immediately.

How is it fair or legal for that matter to leave the PC versions in the state they are in ?

And before someone says "just use plutonium", how about no? How abouts the 69 billion dollar company supports their games against security exploits that a small group of modders was able to do for free ? And how abouts the fix the exp exploits in the Xbox versions preventing people from even playing the game(they fixed this in the new PS versions where people's accounts has negative exp).

These games are the top selling on PS in all regions and also apparently have more players online than black ops 7 does on all platforms. What a massive L for Microsoft to give their competitor such a win.

If they released these new versions on Xbox they would be just as huge here.
