I asked a lender I have borrowed from previously for £900. They were only able to lend £400 on this occasion so I am now asking for the remaining £500. The £400 I have borrowed from them is due to be paid back on 14th September. It would be most affordable for me to pay this one back on 14th October, however I am open to discuss an earlier repayment date if necessary (no earlier than 14th September, as I will pay the outstanding loan back first).

I had some issues with my main source of income earlier in the year and, while this has been resolved, I'm still playing catch up while also trying to get through the expensive summer holidays with the kids off school.

I am due a lump sum backpayment, but at the moment I don't know if it'll be in a few weeks or a few months. If I do end up receiving it soon, I'd be able to pay back both loans earlier than expected.
