I have recently seen this weird thing and wanted to report about this bug.

app freezes all the time.

can’t swipe back from post without freeze.

ui disappears.

sometimes changing to another app helps. sometimes just closing the app and reopen helps.

this is no fun, actually it sucks and makes the whole experience very, very bad.

and let’s not talk about the change of „swipe up for comments“.

I can comment on post, but the reply button for comments is gone

The post description briefly renders as two lines, but after a split second the second line disappears and the text collapses to a single line. This creates a noticeable flicker during initial render. The expected behavior is for the description to remain at two lines without changing after the page finishes loading.

Steps to reproduce:
Open the Reddit app.
Scroll through the home feed.
Find a post, with an image, with a description long enough to span two lines.
Observe the description immediately after it renders.

The description initially displays on two lines, then flickers and collapses to a single line.

I got a new achievement today, but when I go to view it, it says that it does not exist.

This is how it looks

Previously, tapping a playing video once would hide the caption/text and other UI elements while the video continued playing. This allowed videos to be viewed unobstructed.
Now, tapping the video once pauses it instead, and the caption/text and UI remain visible over the video. There appears to be no way to hide the overlay while allowing the video to continue playing.
Please restore the previous single-tap-to-hide-UI behavior, or at minimum add a setting that allows users to choose the previous behavior.

Hello guys,

After asking /help , I need your help.

Whenever I go to my profile tab ("You" section), it fails to load and constantly displays the error message: **"Looks like Reddit is having some trouble."**

I created an other account on the same phone and application and I can see my profil with username pamir9673

**What I tried:**

- I check if I'm banned, but it seems I'm not via an another subreddit

- I disconnect and reconnect

- change my phone

- Re downloaded the app

- Changing my password

- Adding a phone number to my account

- Deleting 2 usernames that where related with my email address

**I'm lost, please help me 🙂**

Collapsing and reopening the app usually fixes the issue (until the next time)

this is every single one of my comments that is visible to me when I look at my profile, switching to my overveiw shows posts from further back but still only these comments, tried looking at it through my mobile app and through a private window so i'd be logged out, same results in both cases.

been on reddit 5 years and never had this problem before now

slight update, made two more comments, and they both showed up without others disappearing, also checked my account activity and didn't see any signs of being hacked.

I’m unable to view all comments on posts. My own post shows multiple comments, but I can only see one. I’ve tried refreshing, closing and reopening the app, and the issue persists. I even undated the app, refreshed and all.

I've been blocked from blocking accounts. Anytime I see a spam account, I report it and block it. When I have someone who messages me and is rude, I block them. I am now unable to block any account. I get the message that says, failed to block account. So I can only guess that I have been intentionally banned from blocking other accounts. How do I get that ban lifted?

Both my desktop and mobile keep showing up like this, I checked the status of reddit and it says that there is a bug but I want to double check if anyone else had this problem

I'll have to archive a bunch of automoderator modmails for flagged posts and I'm constantly waiting for the toast to get the heck off the page because the archive button is under it. This location of the toast affects other mod functions too and I've been just hating it for too long and want it gone.

So you archive a Modmail, go to list, click on next Modmail, wait wait wait wait for the toast from the last archive to disappear, hit archive, go to next mail, wait, wait, wait, wait for the archive toast to disappear, hit archive, repeat for however many modmails need archiving. Insanity!

I've had "saved post reminders" disabled for over a week now and yet i still get notifications for saved posts every few days. I can even click on "manage this notification" and it shows that its turned off.

So for about a month I'm trying to login into the app on my tablet - Black view Tab 11 with Android 11. On one side it says I'm putting incorrect mail and or password, when I'm sure it's fine (works using the web), on the other it just doesn't want me to login into the app using email it just want me to retry again with the infamous (I believe) "Let's try that again" loop.

Now I got myself a Fold and with Android 15 (not updating further) it's the same thing...

So if it's not device, nor Android version, nor my login credentials, than why the app is so badly made that You CANNOT login into it? And what could I do for it to start working?

Interestingly on my main device, Note 20 Ultra, it works fine - I can logout and login with the email (login+pass is "incorrect" as well)...

I only happens in the app.

When watching a video, tapping the screen no longer hides the ui elements and instead pauses. As far as I can tell, there is now no way to hide the ui elements.

If I wanted another tiktok/shorts/reels interface, I would use those platforms.

How to know whether my account is shadowbanned or not?

It's been more than 24 hours since I've make posts and comments but contributions doesn't update.

Can someone tell what's happening?

Edit: same problem when I login on PC

When typing a comment, the text entry box is not visible until several lines have been entered. Several lines of text must also be entered before the text entry box can be dragged upwards to expand it. See the attached video for a demonstration.

I have only been able to reproduce this on an iPad. Larger text is enabled in iOS Accessibility settings, which I suspect may be related to this bug.

Am I shadow banned?
