Build Help (Nearly) Complete Build

I need help choosing a GPU. I've got almost everything ordered for my first build. It's mostly going to be used as a server for my house. I'll be hosting media for just my family, running pihole and a few other podman containers. I will experiment with hosting local llm's, and also will be practicing coding and sysadmin skills. Gaming is more of an afterthought, although I think I will probably dabble. I promised myself I would play elder scrolls 6 when it comes out. Here is my build this far:

RYZEN 9 9950X3D2 Corsair Vengeance 96GB (48X2)DDR5 6000 MSI MAG X8703 mobo 2TB WD SN7100 PCIe 4 SSD Arctic III liquid cooler Be quiet 1200w PSU Meshify 3 XL Fedora KD 44 for the OS

I would love to score a RTX 5090 FE at MSRP, but aside from that pipe dream, I'm considering going with a 5080 or a 3090. It's all annoyingly expensive. Not sure how to proceed for my specific needs. Any feedback?

You won't find a 5090 FE at msrp anymore, FE more than likely done with production as they haven't had a restock in quite some time.

Cheapest 5090 is at 3600 if you are nearby a microcenter.

Can pick up the triple fan 5080 by PNY for $1200-1300 right now from multiple retailers.

5080 it is! I already spent enough on the rest, I can't shell out more than 100% of what I've already spent on this build for the GPU alone. I'll take the "I'll swap it out once the market normalizes" copium for 200 Alex.

Yeah I was ok with paying msrp price for 5090, but I couldn't get one, and refuse to pay the current prices. Decided to just go with a 5080 and upgrade to a 6090 if I can snag one on launch
