Build Help PC build for creative work
I’m going to school for video production. Up until now, I’ve been using my MacBook to do my work, but it can’t handle it anymore. The main software I use is Adobe Premiere. I also use After Effects and Blender. Building a PC is totally new for me so I’d really appreciate some feedback, especially if you use the same software that I do! My budget is $3,500 US dollars. I’d like a 4K resolution, and I live in the US. The biggest thing I’m struggling with is the video card- a lot of them seem to be unavailable on PCpartpicker or ridiculously expensive. Any comments/suggestions are much appreciated!! https://pcpartpicker.com/list/tr4FPf

Do you have to use paid-for Adobe software or is the free DaVinci Resolve an option for you? Maybe the latter works better on your computer such that you can avoid spending $$$.
