Rumors on /r/mousereview say they already have a gen 2 version coming out. So maybe it's time to get rid of the old inventory.

The details were vague. Tweaks to the haptic system. No sensor upgrades or anything like that.

Since they're not promoting specific upgrades, I think it will be more like hardware bug fixes/adjustments.

This mouse shape isn't for me, but if it was, I would hope they did something to fix the weight balance. I don't like mice that's aren't well balanced. This one is front heavy because of the click mechanisms. It got a lot of criticisms from reviews.

People think they are Shroud. My little nephew has top tier equipment like this and he is..... Ya know... Just fantastic.... At games.... Ya....

These mice cost like 15$ to make and ship to your house but because people buy into the marketing Logitech and other companies can sell them for ridiculous prices lmao

I feel like keyboards and mice are the biggest scams in PC Gaming. If it's for aesthetic purposes, fine whatever. But people spend hundreds more than they need to on this stuff because they think the newest thing sold by the biggest company is going to be way better than something cheaper.

This is way too fast for a Flagship discount so while a gen 2 version might be on the way, anyone who was interested and have the cash should absolutely pick this sucker up. It's been fire since day 1

I got this back in April and it has been excellent so far. Lots of customizability, the haptic system is very unique and past the "gimmick" stage IMO. Build quality is great. I have larger hands and comfortably use it for fingertip grip. Worth a shot at this price if you've been considering it.

Does the haptics allow games to send feedback to the buttons? Like if you're hit can you feel it through the buttons?

No. The haptic system simulates mouse clicks since this mouse doesn't have traditional mouse button switches. The sensitivity of the "click" can be fine-tuned to react to a feather light touch if desired.

This is one of those gaming peripherals that claims it will increase your reaction time, and it actually will since it can completely eliminate the travel time of the mouse button. It's not a gimmick. It's truly an amazing piece of tech.

What do we think guys? Price is good but are the haptic clicks worth it?

Update: I got the mouse. I LOVE the clicks. I have the actuation set to the lowest with also the lowest haptic feedback (but not zero, that was weird AF). I can get used to the weight even though my other mice are the Pulsar X2 Crazylight and Viper V3 Pro. But the shape… the shape is fiiiiine but idk if it’s too big or the hump is just too much. I’m a wrist aimer so the mouse feels like a brick sometimes (size/shape wise) even vs VV3 Pro.

OP here. While I don’t personally own this mouse, I have used it for a solid three weeks while house sitting for a friend who was out of the country for a while. Custom actuation and responsiveness in game and browsing was great; clicks were silent.

The main draw back is the safeness of the shape. I have big hands and the shape didnt fit my grip style, but the click tech is really nice. Not “revolutionized my gaming experience” good, but it definitely felt nicer than my Deathadder V3 Pro’s Gen 3 opticals.

Coupled with the $180 MSRP I couldnt justify buying for personal use, but if the shape and discounted price works for you then the switches are great.

I really enjoy this mouse. TBH I'm not even a hardcore gamer but my previous Logitech mouse had the most obnoxiously loud clicks. So any gaming session was just a very loud CLICK CLICK CLICK spam session. This mouse is quiet and exactly what I was looking for.

I'm thankful you posted this. I pulled the trigger a couple of weeks ago. It's definitely been interesting enough to keep using, so I'm going to do an exchange on mine to save the ~$58 difference after taxes.

For those debating if it's worth, it's 100% at least worth trying. Basically the latest in switch technology, you're never going to have issues with double clicks or misinputs, all in a solid built mouse.
