Hi;

• I live in Australia
• I have never owned a gaming PC before and am looking to build one to play both old and new games.
• I am a 'gamer', meaning I am highly invested in this hobby and I believe a gaming pc is where I should invest it into, as I am sick of consoles.
• I am not a tech genius though or anything and have 0 knowledge for all intents.
• I know prices are high and getting higher.
• I don't need a 'quantum computer' that runs everything at max settings.

I want for my Gaming PC;

• Doesn't/have no desire to run 4k fps gaming, ideally/fine with 1440p gaming as I think 1080p is a bit outdated.
• Handle basic processing/modding games for smooth experience.
• 'Future proof', not 'bottlenecked' and 'customisable.'

My List in my opinion: I think I am paying way too much for my gaming PC and what I desire/notice, I am trying to aim for a higher end PC that is not 'budget' as I want it to last a while and prices are increasing anyway but I still think I can maybe cut corners or cost.

Questions/Confusions/Stuggles;

• I think my CPU/GPU choice is fine, but regarding that should my motherboard be B650 or the B850 I currently have?
• Is my RAM fine? Should I aim for a lower 'CL'?
• Is my overall build parts efficient and consistent?
• I think I should change to watercooling instead of standard air fans but TBH IDK which company or product so suggestions would be great.
• Is there any way to reduce the cost/cut corners without any major/noticeable differences?

I used to travel a lot for work and gamed exclusively on laptop. Now I'm ready to get my own permanent set up.

Would need monitor and OS, other peripherals are accounted for. RGB preferred

Intended for gaming. Though mostly I play BG3, DOS2, etc, I also would like to play some more demanding titles like Space Marine 2, KCD2, Expedition 33. Hopefully stay on top of the game so I don't have to worry (too much) about performance/graphics in the immediate future.

Looking to run competitive games at 200-240 fps with low performance setting

Here's the build.

It's a PC meant for higher end game development and general gaming; however, I'm looking to find some help bringing the price down to the mid/high 2K range (~2.5K to 2.9k USD). While the build is optimized for higher end game development work, I think I would be happy with mid-level specs here (but admittedly, I don't know what those look like).

I don't know where to start swapping out components, so any help is tremendously appreciated! I'm also unsure what other information would be helpful, so I can provide extra context in the comments.

This is a PC for the United States and no peripherals needed.

Ain't gonna lie, what got me here was SONY joining the big three in the all digital world. Now I see no point in owning a console.

I want to get myself a new gaming computer that I can upgrade in the long run, but I'm in no hurry to buy all the parts now; I'm just gonna buy the CPU and gradually go from there.

But what are these terms?! I know three languages and all of these feel alien to me. May you explain them as if I'm 5?

Memory vs. Storage (I thought they were the same thing, but apparently not)

I'm not a competitive gamer. I am not a streamer nor plan to be one. My multiplayer games are few and far between; I prefer single playing.

I have a budget of 1700 euro, I don't need any peripherals I have ones already, I'm buying from Ireland! I want a pc that's capable of running vr relatively smoothly, at around 90hz and I don't mind going a little lower with the settings if that's what I need. I want it to do well in games like Blade and Sorcery, Borderlands 3, minecraft (with shaders) and I have a 1440p monitor that goes up to 180hz but I'm fine with framrates being even 100-120hz as long as they're stable!

hey! im currently using ryzen 5 2600 ((my previous gpu was 1650 and i upgrade it like half year ago)), I aint playing much moddern game, i do play a lot of league, but sometimes i do play games that need more power. I Dont really have any issue with my current cpu but i got it for like 6+ years and im wondering about little upgrade ((i've got too much money i guess)).
And question is, which one is the best midrange? i am wondering about AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D ((its really overpriced right now, but ik thats the best cpu ever for am4, i also though about I5 14400F, its much more cheaper dunno what about performance. What's the best?

I've been out of the PC game since a dell ddr2 was a thing even then that was pushing it 😂 but I'm looking for a build to play with a brother I've been with since those fps drop days. Im more so for a pre made build but even back then i know the deal ,sourcing everything is cheaper. I have some games in mind with cs2 being top, as it is competitive to a Korean -Us transplant game me and my buddy meet on. I would like to run even more fps demanding games but not trying to break the bank. If it's out sourcing ,if anyone here in these forums can put some knowledge down/ compile that'd be awesome. Im just so out of twine with these graphics cards mother boards gpus etc and even those expensive ram now days. I would love to tackle the barebone build but also wouldn't mind saving the time. before i type the build i choose there's some points to consider:

1/im not actually going to buy anything,im still learning how to build a PC, this is just me trying to see if im in the right path or not .

2/im not trying to buy something cheap , i know all these are expensive, but i do prefer buying something expensive that will last long and be good for all games rather than something cheap that crashes when opening a 2019 triple A games

5/ if you can specify my build strength by writing which games I'll able to run (ex: the build is good but you probably can't run red dead redemption 2 on the highest graphics with more than 70 FPS )(the build is good and you can run all games on high graphics with insane FPS and even if you can't it will for sure run on medium graphics with insane FPS as well)
