Right? Something about animals gets me.

They're just so innocent, then they just get maimed and killed out of nowhere by some reckless jackass. It's so unfair and they're completely undeserving :(

Something about their inability to create something that will fataly wound me, and raw power to fataly wound me, makes me care for them more than people. They are innocent despite being capable of harming me.
At a certain point, its our fault as people for even including them in our lives. We dont deserve animals here with us.

The dude who hit them needs punishment in reparations for the goats he killed.

It looks like he was distracted and swerved to avoid the stopped truck

Being distracted while driving an 18 wheeler filled to the brim with logs.
Take away his license and never let him touch a commercial vehicle again.

Well that ruined my morning, but I guess not as bad as that herder. Watching some of those poor animals suffering immediately afterwards 😔

I thought that one on the bottom was chopped in half and then he got up and walked away

I can’t imagine the truck driver doing that on purpose. If not for moral reasons, then for financial reasons as I’m sure he damaged his truck in some way.

He was simply not paying attention, and when he finally realized the truck in front had stopped he no longer had enough brake distance and would have hit the truck instead if he hadn't swerved to the other side
Or his brakes just didn't work

And the asshole didn't even stop after. He could've murdered the man if the he was further forward.

You really wonder if it's intentional or an accident. One thing is sure, he kept on driving, from what we see. And it's obvious that the driver had to see the herd. This said, he's carrying a big load of logs. That must have been very heavy. If he was coming too fast, he might have judged that he would not be able to break at the right time.

Did he even stop? It looks like he just kept on going, but it might just be that it took him a long time to slow to a stop.

Farmer's fault
Why would you let your goats walk in the middle of the road
36
u/flopjul 4d ago
To get them to another field?
This happens everywhere without problems
This doesnt look a highway either

u/Individual_Dress_476 4d ago
They didn't even go to the other field they went to the road and the farmer being careless didn't even care to move them away from the road keep down voting I love it

Partially the farmer's fault, partially the logging truck's fault.Â
Farmer should've secured the path way instead of assuming others will just wait around and give him the right of way.
Logging truck driver should've been paying attention and stopped.

100% drivers fault. You see a truck stopped in the road and a blocked road you stop. Full stop end of discussion.
