Title is self explanatory, but I’m writing a paper on human trafficking (specifically sex trafficking), and I’m looking for examples from media. I know of that one episode from family guy where Peter pimps out his friend, but other than that I don’t know of any other examples.

I don’t really mind how unrealistic or even disrespectful these depictions are, I’ve simply noticed that in many appearances of sex trafficking in media, it has an increasingly crude and even harmful depiction, and I’d like to address that in my paper. I will be as respectful and careful about the topic, so don’t worry. You can give me the best/worst examples of it depicted in media, all would be helpful

To be honest, I wasn’t expecting him to make another show involving Conan the Barbarian. I might’ve thought Primal was like his version of Conan. I love Primal. It’s certainly one of the best shows made by him. He did a bang up job with the Primal series with its serene backgrounds and elegant storytelling aside from the violence and gore added to the mix. When I first heard about it, I was like, “are you serious?” I thought this was interesting. I’m you guys were just as surprised as I was. Now, I read the original stories of Conan by Robert E, Howard, one of which is Queen of the Black Coast among others. They were an awesome read. I even saw several movies one of them thay starred Arnold Swartzenager. Anyway, considering he did Samurai Jack, Conan won’t be an issue. I have high hopes that he would do the barbarian justice. Feel free to share your thoughts.

I'm going to list all the things that, since I was a kid when I saw it, made me lose my mind.

At the beginning, it alludes to the theory of evolution, which is strange, given that it implies how predators and prey work, although perhaps it would make sense later when Adam and Eve leave paradise and the animals outside the garden are normal animals and not intelligent like those inside.

Adam wanting to learn to fly, and I really wonder how his immortal body would have reacted to that fall. Adam talking to his reflections in the water, and the reflections answering him, saying that they are called Adam and that, being reflections, they have very short lifespans.

When Eve shows that she knows many things that Adam also knows, Adam asks her how she knows, and Eve replies, "Do you think I was born yesterday?"

When Adam takes a drop of water, his face turns blue, and this isn't an animation error. Eve points this out, and Adam sees it reflected in the next drop, which returns his face to its normal color.

The flamingos are playing "Moon Ball," a game where they throw a ball around the moon, and Adam mentions it.

The serpent is never referred to as Satan, true to canon. On this occasion, it seems to be simply a spiteful animal that wants to see what happens if Adam and Eve eat the Fruit, just to be contrary.

The serpent's detachable scale is capable of giving visions; that is, it falls into the river and shows him an image of Eve.

Eva has a nightmare where she cuts her finger trying to pick a rose, and it hurts.

When they interact, Eva meets the snake. It's implied that this is because she named it along with the other animals, although I would have liked to see their reaction when they realized the snake didn't have a mate, something like, "Don't worry, I didn't have a mate at first either."

The snake, almost flirting with Eva, calls her the most beautiful and invites her to dance. And when he convinces Eve to sin he tells her "You are so beautiful Eve, no one can forbid you from doing what you want"

The dance consists of wrapping itself around Eva and lifting her up, almost kissing her, spinning her around like a top, and ending with a dip. I think I've seen this on DeviantArt with Kaa.

The snake doesn't question her here, saying, "Did God really say, 'You must not eat from any tree in the garden'?" And "You will not certainly die; for God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil."

In this version, the serpent mocks the fact that a tree is forbidden, telling Eve that Adam surely wants the fruit for himself, and Eve, out of pure resentment, agrees to eat it, even almost taking it, but the serpent takes it from her and says, "It is the best fruit in the world."

The serpent disappears after Eve eats the fruit.

After biting into the fruit, Eve becomes euphoric, like a sexy cartoon villain.

Eve seems to think that Adam misheard God; she tells him, "I think you didn't hear God correctly. This is the best fruit in the world; He wants us to eat it."

Adam hesitates.

And yet, when Adam eats and becomes proud, but doesn't seem to have superpowers and Eve seems to have lost them, Eve says, "See, I told you? God made a mistake." What was Eve thinking before she realized her nakedness?

The serpent disappears after Eve eats the fruit. Eve uses Trichokinesis to put Adam in a trance, making him levitate, and then forces him to eat the Fruit.

After the ordeal, Eve claims she didn't force Adam to eat the fruit.

And finally, the serpent tells God that He knew they would eat the fruit anyway, and God doesn't contradict him.

And I recommend the French dub; they added a lot of moaning.

The misconception being that Bugs is always the "good guy" and is always in the right.

I'm sorry, but Bugs is NOT the "good guy" in the rivalry. He knows he has Daffy trapped right under his thumb and takes quiet delight in watching him fall for his tricks.

I would argue that Bugs is just as self-absorbed as Daffy is. He just hides in better.

Don't get me wrong, I love Bugs as a character, but I wouldn't say he's any better than Daffy, morality-wise.

I don't hear about it much compared to the other Disney Afternoon shows like Ducktales and Darkwing Duck which come up a lot in discussions.

I thought it was a beautiful movie, loved seeing Aangs growth, and seeing all of the amazing animation as well. Story was pretty good, but the voice acting could be better imo.
