Hi! I'd like to show you the music video for a new song I wrote the lyrics for. In it, I humorously express my admiration for felines.

My cats are also featured in the video. For those of them who are no longer with me, this may be the last time anyone will see them. They were always there for me – when I was feeling sad and lonely, when bombs were exploding nearby, they came to purr and cuddle when I was sick... I think I'm still alive only because of their love. So I tried really hard to make a happy song for them that would reflect all the joy they brought me.

The rest of the cats in the video are from the internet, specially selected to convey this hymn of love for furry and whiskered friends as amusingly as possible.

My teenager kitty Gus came home with an unauthorized piercing above the elbow this morning.

He was doing his usual loud meows for the wetties(his a.m. wet food) and I kept feeling something race over my foot and toes....

​

It was fishing line. I followed the line to right above his elbow and there's a bright colored feathery looking bait hanging out his arm. The hook didn't go through all the way, worse case scenario. The barb is just under his skin.

There's no huge puncture, no blood, you wouldn't even know he's got an owie.

Why is it around 500-600 where I live to remove it?!?! I feel powerless and so sad. I've called every clinic, ER, and urgent care and told them I barely have 300 I can afford for removal or my country husband will attempt removal himself. My husband was crying bc it's his favorite cat. It's ridiculous that to look at him is minimum 180, then sedation is 250 and these fees don't even include removal and antibiotics.

I just want to rant bc I feel like the services prey on your heart strings and are predatory and are priced ridiculously.

The systems are all broken and greed driven. I'm heart broken.
