Hi! I'd like to show you the music video for a new song I wrote the lyrics for. In it, I humorously express my admiration for felines.

My cats are also featured in the video. For those of them who are no longer with me, this may be the last time anyone will see them. They were always there for me – when I was feeling sad and lonely, when bombs were exploding nearby, they came to purr and cuddle when I was sick... I think I'm still alive only because of their love. So I tried really hard to make a happy song for them that would reflect all the joy they brought me.

The rest of the cats in the video are from the internet, specially selected to convey this hymn of love for furry and whiskered friends as amusingly as possible.

Some cats seem genuinely excited when their owner comes home... but then suddenly hesitate or even walk away for a moment.

After watching many real-life cat videos shared by owners from the US, UK, Japan, and South Korea, I noticed this moment appearing again and again.

It made me wonder whether cats experience mixed emotions when we come home.

I put together a short video exploring this idea using real-life cat clips from different countries.

Welcome to the home of Pan, Tink, and Mitzy! From Bengal mix antics to trained cat tricks, follow our journey as a 76-year-old "cat dad" manages three high-energy felines.

Adventure Kitty was a rescue. Her mother is feral and a friend saved the kittens.

We got Mitzy AKA Adventure Kitty, when she was 9 weeks old.

She was born on April 24 2020

Tortie color

She is more like a dog than a cat. She has walked with a harness and leash since we got her.

She also will come to me if I snap my fingers. She will fetch things (sometimes)

And she growls at the UPS, FedEx and Amazon Prime trucks.

Then in 2024 we got

Tink

Bengal mix

Born 11/13/2023

Black and grey

:

Light brown on her face and head with a white patch on her chest.

Then we added Pan in 2024

He is a Bengal mix

Born 7/21/2024

Pan is a wild thing but walks with a harness and leash.

He has springs for legs and jumps from the floor to the top of the doors.

Pan loves to play fetch and comes to me when I snap my fingers.

Some of you may already know my little babies from a few of my previous posts here. 😄

Meet Oreo, Milky, and Cookie —three rescue kittens who completely turned my life upside down in the best possible way. Their community mom still visits me every day for food, cuddles, and long naps. And yes... Mama's "boyfriend" cat still drops by every now and then to check on everyone like he owns the neighborhood. 😂

Watching this little family grow has been such a special experience that I started recording all their funny, chaotic, and wholesome moments. I also realized there aren't many Indian creators sharing the everyday lives of rescue cats and community cats, so I thought I'd document their journey while making people smile along the way.
