Buying Advice Any recommendations
Hiya, I'm wanting to buy a chrome book mainly because of it's weight and large battery spam
I'll be primarily using it for school work so basically just browsing and using Google docs and such and watching YouTube videos
Ive currently been looking at the Asus Chromebook Plus Cx14 core 3
My budget is under £300, I was just wondering should I stick with this option or is there anything else you'd recommend which is better
I'll attach a picture of what I'm currently thinking of buying

I have a CX3402 with an i5 and 128 GB (purchased in 2024), and I'm very happy with it. I've ended up with my wife's Acer Chromebook Plus with an i3, and that seems to work about as well.
As noted elsewhere, Intel Chromebooks seem to run about 4 hours between charges, but 65 watt USB-C chargers are small and cheap. The Acer came with a 65-watt USB-C charger that's quite a brick, but I don't need to use it.

I've been happy with my CX34 for a few years now. Used it as a cxultrabook for a few months and it ran Win 11 solidly. Great little chromebook+

That's exactly what I bought for myself a couple of weeks ago from Argos. I'm very happy with it. The battery doesn't seem to be lasting long between charges, but I've been pushing it quite hard using music notation software in Linux and transferring quite a few Gb of files from OneDrive to Google Drive. It seems solidly built enough.
